Another Project....

Check out this for th eproducers of The May Day Project comes 26 things. Should be fun! Log on and give it a go.

The wife had strep this week, in a bad way and the boy is out of school for summer. With the summer heat (finally) it's been a pretty rough week. Add on the fact that the dog has a drive-you-mad cough and let's just say I haven't slept well lately.

Now it is off to the playoffs (Did I mention he did this again the 1st place team) We were behind 9-0 in the 2nd and lost it 12-11 on a two run double in the 6th (final inning).

Summer is here!! We actually went swimming yesterday! Had a fantastic game yesterday. We won 7-3 against a team that beat us 10-0 last time. The boy had a great game. Caught 2 innings and got an out on a bunt. Hit a 2 run double (scoring the go ahead run), then closing it out on the mound with 2 strikeouts and a put out to First on a bunt ( which he fielded). Cheers and hugs all around!

Time To Make The Donuts Orginally written 6/21/03 at 11:35 am

I have been really tired this week! Wednesday I was asleep by 7:40pm. Thursday and Saturday I was ready for a nap by 10am!!! Today I am working some OT (5:30am to 1:00pm). Tomorrow I am SLEEPING IN!!!

Father's Day was nice! Did a little yard work, sat on the deck, ate a nice meal. My son got me season one of Futurama and my wife got me season one, two, three and four of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I love having my favorite shows on DVD. One day I'll get Babylon 5!

Did I ever mention how much I HATE Inter-league play, well I do.

Pet Peeve

To all magazines, webzines or any publication (especially TV Guide adn Entertainment Weekly). When you do a "top something" list, and I don't care if it's a top 10, top 50, top 100, start from the BOTTOM and work your way down. How studip is it to start a Top 10 list with number one!! It's the build up people!!! Why bother with the other 49 items when you start with number 1.....end rant!!

It's Saturday again, looks like I post every Saturday.....odd. Just got back from The Matrix Reloaded. It was OK, but could have been about 20 minutes shorter, easily!!! We enjoyed it and will see Revolution in November/December, but not as good as the first. Also saw Finding Nemo this week, OK as well, Monsters, Inc. was MUCH BETTER. Guess I am hard to satisfy this week. A heavy film week for us. Aside from the theater releases we saw Tears of the SunThey, Joy Ride, Just Married and several episodes of The Family Guy. Of those, Tears was a good Bruce Willis movie, Joy Ride better horror than They, which should have used the alternate ending, and The Family Guy was/is the funniest thing on TV since the first seveal seasons of The Simpsons!!!

Clemens finally got to 300 victories and 4000 strikeouts, the Yankees need to do something if they want to win the AL East, forget the AL Championship if they continue to play like this. Toronto and Boston are going to give them a run!!!! My fantasy team is stuck in 3rd/4th. None of my guys are really performing and my core (Giambi, Jeter, Chavez) is hurting. Don't even talk pitching to me.

Hello Again, Hello

Please leave a note saying you were here, I would love to hear from you the reader(s)....I see someone from Oregon State University and Iceland have been stopping in. So please say hi, check out the Guest Map or drop a link to your own site!!!! I blogroll and so should you!!!! ;-)

And Down the Stretch They Come...

Well it looks like no Triple Crown, again. It was worth the hype and the owners (from Sacketts Harbor, NY) were very funny and down to earth (I just loved them on the Today Show with Katie). Roger still doesn't have number 300!! Have to wait until Thursday/Friday. And RH Teachers (my son's team) lost a close one (4-3), the boy had an RBI and a nice hit to center for a single. He really knows how to call a game behind the plate. He talks alot and lets the team know outs, count, where the play is...........

I know alot has been written on Sosa, so I'll just add my quick two cents..........80 plus bats and only one corked.......leave the man be!!!! I have the MLB Production of the Home Run race with him and Mark.....I still get chills and teary eyed watching it!!!! Forget Bonds, half the nation didn't even realize what was happening with him but everyone watched Sammy and Mark that magic season..........I hope Mark returns to manage, I think him and Cal would be great. I would love to see Mark be a Player/Manager ala Pete Rose (without the Gambling).....

Hello There!!

Wow, June already!!! Did a big wedding this weekend (my sister-in-law) at the Sagamor on Lake George. What a party. The ceremony and reception were both 'outdoors' (under tents because of the weather) with a nice view of the lake. We stayed overnight ($285/room) and it was just like the movies, now I know how the other half lives. All in all a great time had by us!!!!

Still waiting on other jobs, getting very tired. You know how when you think you are leaving something then everything annoys you. Well I am at that place now!!!! Little things, everyday things at work just piss me off now, I get angry at people I've known for years, and I don't need a vacation, I've had 3 weeks already this year plus my 4 weeks for surgery.............

Now it's off to the union thing again, I have a meeting tomorrow and have to develop language for my lawyers to read and approved before we propase it.............
