Happy Birthday to Me!!

Today I am 33 years old and feel every year. Got out in the yard yesterday and did lots of yard work, first time I've really worked since surgery and man do I feel it......

Took this week off to putter around the house and do the Spring Cleaning thing.....nothing else going on....which is how I like it.

Baseball is in full swing, the war is cooling down, the idiots have crawled back into their holes to await the next big "uprising".......life is good......

Why is it that these Shiite Muslims can, in the same breath, practice thier faith openly for the first time in decades and then protest against the Americans that freed them.

Mr. President, as we get the hell out of Dodge, why don't we take in oil the cost of the operation. I am sure a billion barrels of crude should settle the bill.

I am going crazy!! My wife is waiting for a call from an interview 2 weeks ago. Now after the interview the woman told my wife that she would be away and not to expect a call for at least 2 weeks. Here it is 2 weeks and 3 days and nothing yet! Yes I know it's only been 3 days and I know it might even take a few more weeks to finish other interviews, but I want them to give her the job NOW! (Settle down Veruca Salt).

Greetings all!!! And a Happy Easter. Hope the Easter Bunny was good to you all. Thing seem to be back to normal. Getting back into the game is nice. Still tired all the time but that is expected, after I start exercising again this week I should be able to rebuild some stamina.......

Time to get out and start the spring cleaning.....do the grill, get the furniture out, rake and seed the yard.......open the pool. I love yard work but hope that we will be gone before we have to really get into it......

Baseball is here!!! Both MLB, Little League and Fantasy League......my Yankees are doing just fine (Jeter will be back and Mondesi is playing Fantastic), my son started pitching this week amd I am Asst Coaching, and my fantasy team is right in the mix (for week 2, haha)....

Things seem to be back to normal now. Took a few days but we have power and heat and food and all the modern conveniences man needs. Our cable modem was destroyed in the storm but luckily nothing else (Computer, DVD. Stereo, numerous TVs, etc) was damaged when the power returned after 5 days.................

Time for Baseball practice...been pitching like a mad man to my sons little league team........140 pitches each day 2 days in a row...my arm is gonna fall off...........

Lost power Friday evening and got it back Monday at 4pm......been cold, hungry, tired and oh had to get that tree off of my house..........BRB

7 Houses and 8 Apartments. That includes the 5 apartmetns I lived in with my wife and 1 house with my wife and son.

2. Which was your favorite and why?<

The house we are in now is my favorite. Because it is ours!!! We picked it, painted it and did lots of work on it (roof, bathrooms, pool, deck, yardwork, finished basement) and I pay for it every month.

3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?

I hate moving cause we moved so much when I was a kid. I would rather be shot and stabbed than move.....

4. What's more important, location or price?

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?

I like an inground pool (check), big basement (check), big garage (nope) and a huge yard (nope), plus I would love to have an extra building, like a small barn or seperate garage with rooms above it........

Back In The Saddle

Just got back from my weight group and lost 2 pounds......that means it's a loss every week since January 3rd. Very good says they, I can do better says me......want to try for 5 pounds in 2 weeks....must exercise and record food consumption.

Wife had a GREAT interview today and is on the way home (4 hour drive) but the interview went over 2 hours and she met with the C.F.O. We should hear something in 2 weeks!!

I think Saddam is dead, just a feeling. Nobody has seen him since the first airstrike. Now I am not an evil dictator, or even a Head of State, but if my country was at war and my headquarters, palace, airport was hit and/or taken over by enemy troops I would make sure I made some sort of appearence to rally my people and shake a fist at the world. Not this 'timely' footage of me smoking a cigar that could have been taken 3 years ago.....I would appear live, or with some sort of date marker, newspaper, picture or comment on a recent event......So far nothing, he's dead. And Osama's near death, same thing with him........man I thought we had special units trained to 'deal' with assh*les like this............

Horror of horrors I watched Derek end the season last night (well hopefully only a month or two) and was very upset. Then heard that Michael Jeter (character actor) died yesterday of 'something'. That's too bad he was always a good whiney guy........
